Press Office

The Office of Public Affairs at Lahore Museum is the official liaison for the news mediaboth nationally and internationally. The office coordinates for media coverage of exhibitions, research and other activities concerning the Museum. We facilitate media enquiries including requests for interviews, photography, filming and documentaries regarding Museum collections.The head of Public Relations (PR)Section is also the press spokesperson for the Museum.

The Press Office of the Section is the first point of call for all media enquiries. It also maintains a mailing list. Protocol Unit

Public Relations Officer (PRO) and staff actively perform protocol duties conducting the visitsofVIPs, dignitaries, other guests andstate delegationsvisiting the Lahore Museum in addition to extending guided tours to students and general peoplein groups.

Marketing Unit

The Marketing unit works in tandem with the Press Office and the Protocol unit, primarily, for the promotion of the Lahore Museum as the premier repository of cultural heritage inPakistan.

This Section outreaches to the public, communicating with different individuals, groups and communities. Its responsibilities include propagating events, educational programmes and exhibitions, highlighting activities, objects and collections, arranging sponsorships, generating income and attracting technical and financial assistance and collaborative partnerships.

The PRO section works and liaises closely with various organisations and institutions such as museums, art galleries, art councils,cultural and educational institutions, development partners and mediafor the preservation, promotion and development of art, culture, research and education.
